George William Postgate 70 Year Certificate

The Provincial Grand Master RW.Bro James Hodgson, the Provincial Grand Secretary W.Bro Roger Wedlake and The Provincial Assistant Grand Secretary W.Bro David Kettle together with a deputation from Caer Caradoc, Namely, W.Bro Allan Caswell, W.Bro Terry Haunch, W.Bro Charles Pearson attended the Field House Residential Home, Sandford Avenue, Church Stretton, on Monday 29th November 2010 at 12 noon, where a certificate celebrating 70 year in Masonry was presented to W Bro George William Postgate by the PGM, RW.Bro James Hodgson.  At the age of 98, W.Bro George was in good form enlightening us all with his early days in masonry. His son and daughter in law were present and a light buffet was organized by the staff from Fieldhouse. W.Bro George wished to be remembered to the brethren of Caer Caradoc and thanked the PGM for the honour of presenting him with the 70 year certificate. He thanked those brethren present for coming to his presentation and suggested the next time we meet at Fieldhouse would be to celebrate his 100th birthday! A date we all look forward to.
