DIRECTIONS TO LUDLOW FROM THE NORTH: approach Ludlow on the A49. Turn left on the B4361 north of the town (signposted Ludlow) and continue into the Town Centre. At the top of the hill, just past the Feathers Hotel, you reach the Bullring; turn right (brown sign for Ludlow Castle). Turn left down Broad Street; the next left is Brand Lane. This leads back onto the B3461; the Masonic Hall is a distinctive white-and-blue building just before you reach the end of the lane. FROM THE SOUTH: approach Ludlow on the A49. Turn left on the B4361 south of the town (signposted Ludlow) and continue until you reach the stone bridge across the river just on the outskirts of Ludlow. Immediately across this bridge continue straight ahead along Lower Broad Street, through the archway, and Brand Lane is the first lane on your right as you go up the hill. Please note that parking in Ludlow generally is at a premium, and in Brand Lane itself is non-existent. There is on-street parking in Broad Street and a limited amount on the B3461 from 5.00 onwards; the pay-and-display car park near the Castle is only a few minutes' walk from the Lodge rooms for the more active. The Hall itself is clearly named MASONIC-HALL; there is a private house
nearby which is signed as No. 17 The Lodge. The latter will not welcome you half
as warmly as the former!
